Voiceover Demo Combo For Kids:

This private workshop is geared specifically for kids aged 8-14 years old who are already represented by an agent and is structured to introduce the young actor and the parents to the art and business of voiceover.

Andy Long (who has taught kids in various forms of acting for years) discusses the business of voiceover - what kinds of voiceover jobs are available and how to go about pursuing them.  He'll talk about the different kinds of voiceover demos and how to put them together.

Your child will practice working with real commercial voiceover copy, learn to quickly scan text and find important words within the text, and find an energetic, yet honest approach to the material.  Then they'll listen to the playback, receive constructive feedback that will help build confidence, and then try again incorporating any changes that were recommended.  They'll also discover their "key voice" and will learn what type of voiceover is best suited for them.

Parents will learn about the business-end of voiceover - how to go about marketing your child for voiceovers, networking, etc.

Then we walk your child through the process of producing his/her voice demo.  We will fully produce each spot your child records adding music and/or sound effects as needed.  Then we'll take the best cuts from each piece and mix them all down into your child's 60-second voice demo.

After post-production is complete, you will receive a master CD containing the fully-produce demo plus each spot produced in its entirety.  You will also receive 5 free Demo Cards and a free web page to profile your demo and headshot so you may market your demo online.
