Musical Tastes

We rarely record music. We mostly stick to voiceover production. But for the few times that we do take on vocalists or musicians, it should be noted that our engineer only listens to country, jazz, Top 40, classical, and - when the mood strikes - showtunes. If your musical tastes don't match with ours, you'll probably receive better results at another studio. Therefore, to preserve the integrity of your project, we will not record rap, punk, or death metal. Thank you for your understanding.

Studio Policies

  • Studio time is booked in 2-hour increments and must be paid in advance with a credit card. (We accept all major credit cards.)
  • Voiceover and vocalist demos are priced as single-session packages (1 visit to the studio.) Additional sessions for re-takes, add-ons, or pick-ups will be billed at discounted rate of $50/hour.
  • Voiceover demos may be recut up to 30 days after completion without charge. After 30 days, recuts will be charged at our current quarter-day rate.
  • Voiceover demos must be paid in advance and recorded within 30 days of payment. No refunds for un-recorded demos beyond 30 days. No exceptions.
  • If Lambert Studios acquired an accompanist and/or a voiceover coach for you, their fees are also paid in advance with a credit card.
  • Recording packages (voiceover or vocalist) are purchased as a single-session. Additional sessions for retakes or pickups will be billed at $50/hour.
  • Registration for workshops requires advance payment and is non-refundable after the workshop has past. However, it is transferable and/or may be credited toward other services with advance notice (at least 24 hours before scheduled workshop.)
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Please note that our studio is located on the second floor of a residence and is not equipped to provide for individuals with special physical needs (wheelchairs, etc.)

Rescheduling And Cancellations

  • Cancellations require a minimum of 24-hours notice. Any cancellations made with less than 24-hours notice will result in a charge of 50% of your session fee.
  • Cancellations with less than 12-hours notice are considered no-shows and will not be refunded.
  • If you reschedule the appointment with less than 24-hours notice, you will be billed/charged 50% of the session fee.
  • Cancellations due to foul weather or poor travel conditions will not incur any rescheduling fees.
  • Refunds can take up to 7 business days to process.
